Officials at North Memorial in Robbinsdale confirm the emergency room there was put on temporary lockdown Saturday night, following a "self-inflicted gunshot incident in a restroom near the ER."

A statement from the hospital Monday said hospital staff and police worked together to reopen the emergency room quickly.

The Associated Press reported authorities did not immediately release details on the condition of the shooter, or on exactly how long the emergency room was put on lockdown.
