The National Football League made it official Sunday night: Justin Timberlake will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.
It had been reported late last month a deal with Timberlake was being finalized for the Feb. 4 game at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The league reminds viewers in its release the gig will mark Timberlake's third performance, though many will have a hard time remembering anything before the infamous wardrobe malfunction alongside Janet Jackson in 2004 for Super Bowl XXXVII.
The NFL says the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. Last year's show reached more than 150 million unique people across broadcast and digital channels.
