Press Conference: Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman Discusses Charges Against Noor

On Tuesday afternoon, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman held a press conference to discuss the charges against now-former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.

Noor was charged Tuesday with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for fatally shooting Justine Damond last July.


"To lose a family member to violence is always wrenching and painful," Freeman said at the press conference.

"But to lose one when she was acting as a concerned and caring citizen, at the hands of a person she had called for help, is inexplicable."
