Missing 2-Year-Old Boy Found Safely in Stearns County

A missing 2-year-old boy was located safely after a three-hour plus search Thursday night in Stearns County.

A release from the Stearns County Sheriff's Department states the boy was reported missing at around 6:17 p.m. Thursday from the 25000 block of County Road 161 in Munson Township. Deputies responded and began a search that included a drone, as well as two bloodhounds and their handlers.


The state patrol, Chain of Lakes Fire Department, Richmond Fire and Rescue and St. Martin Rescue all assisted in the search.

The release states the boy was located safely around 9:23 p.m. and was reunited with his mother.
