His wife awoke around 5:45 a.m. the following day to find both he and his vehicle - a 2005 four-door black Saturn Ion - gone. That vehicle was located unoccupied by the state patrol at 5:45 a.m. on May 3. It was parked on the southbound shoulder of the Interstate 35W bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis.

Asfahl, who has health concerns, did not have his cell phone, wallet or daily medications with him.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol has searched the river and volunteers have searched the area around where his vehicle was located. The search has not yet yielded results.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ramsey Police Department at (763) 427-6812 or Anoka County Dispatch at (763) 427-1212.

A Facebook page entitled "Help Bring Jeff Asfahl Home" has also been started.
