The last time Block saw her daughter the teen was lying down on the couch with a migraine.

"When I got back, she was gone," Block said.

Jasmine Block had spent the day of Aug. 8 with friends boating on nearby Lake Victoria. When she got home, her mother said she talked about how excited she was to head back to the lake the next day.

Her family believes the teen left the Alexandria home around 10:45 p.m. that evening. She left all of her belongings behind.

"Even if she just went next door, she would bring her phone with her and that was plugged in on the couch," her mother said. "So it was like she was just going to step outside for a minute and something happened."

Alexandria police are checking for surveillance around the family's mobile home park and throughout the rest of the city. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is also assisting in the search.

"I know someone has to know something, because you don't just disappear,"  Sarah Block said.  "Were not going to stop looking until we find her and I know that were going to find her."

Block has organized another search for 3 p.m. this Saturday . Volunteers can meet at the Big Ole statue in Alexandria. Block is also planning a candle light vigil at New Life Christian Church on Friday night at 6 p.m.

Block is offering a $1,000 reward for any information on her daughter's whereabouts.
