Minnesota United Practice At TCF Bank Stadium

March 10, 2017 03:04 PM

Temperatures were in the single digits as the Minnesota United FC took the field at TCF Bank stadium for a brief practice Friday morning.

United will host the Atlanta United FC Sunday afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in what will be Minnesota's first ever home game as an MLS team.

Most of the Minnesota players were bundled up during their practice with many wearing beanies and sweatshirts.

Temperatures Sunday are expected to be in the upper 20's and there is a slight chance of snow.

After practice the players and head coach Adrian Heath weren't too concerned with cold weather saying they are excited to play their home opener and are looking forward to a big crowd.
