Minnesota Moment: Minnesotans Remember Sept. 11 Attacks Ahead of Vikings Game

September 12, 2017 09:21 AM

Monday’s Minnesota moment is about the sea of purple turning red, white and blue at U.S. Bank Stadium.

During the “Star Spangled Banner” ahead of Monday’s Vikings game, fans held up red, white and blue cards to form stars and stripes stretching through the stadium.

The event was in remembrance of the 16th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, and in observance of Patriot Day.
