Minneapolis Police: Woman Injured in Little Earth Shooting

Minneapolis police say a woman was injured in a shooting in the Little Earth neighborhood Monday morning.

Sgt. Darcy Horn, a public information officer for the department, confirmed officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2400 block of Ogema Place.


Police say they responded at 10 a.m. and found a woman significantly injured. However, the injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.

"I heard like four or five gunshots," neighbor Sheena St. John told FIVE EYEWITNESS NEWS. "It sounded pretty close. Last spring I had two bullets come through my living room. Just scary, really scary."  

Police are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them.
