The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the woman who was found dead following a house fire in north Minneapolis Saturday night.

A release from the medical examiner's office says 62-year-old Margaret Coleman died of thermal injury and smoke inhalation from the fire on the 1200 block of Newton Avenue North.

The fire started just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Arriving fire crews found a garage engulfed in flames; the fire spread to the attic of the attached house before it was brought under control. 

After the fire was out, crews found Coleman inside a vehicle in the garage.
