Investigators say the deaths of a man and woman in Hastings appear to be a case of murder-suicide.
Police say the man and woman were boyfriend and girlfriend and both lived at the home where their bodies were found by a relative.

They were identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner as 34-year-old Justin Anderson and 29-year-old Danielle Denney. Both died from a gunshot wound to the head, although the manner of death is pending further investigation.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press says investigators scoured the property for evidence on Tuesday. One detective searched the roof while another looked through long grass in the backyard.
Authorities say the deaths apparently happened within 24 hours of when the bodies were found.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
