A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty and was sentenced Tuesday in connection to the death of a 21-month-old child, according to a news release from the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.
The release said Nelson Geovanny Soto-Lopez pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder in connection to the death of Drake Damian Oliva.
Soto-Lopez was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Olivia's mother, 27-year-old Heydi Jaqueline Aguilera-Bustillo, pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and offender and was sentenced in January.
