Little Earth Shooting Suspect Arrested

A man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old in the early morning hours of March 25 in the Little Earth area of Minneapolis.

A release from the Minneapolis Police Department said Juan Antonio Vasquez Jr. was arrested on a homicide warrant in outstate Minnesota.

Police said 19-year-old Alexander Lagarde was killed in the shooting, which took place on the 2400 block of Ogema Place. Another juvenile male suffered what were termed as non-life threatening injuries.

No other suspects are being sought in the matter.
