A Woodbury woman charged with human labor trafficking and assault is expected in court Thursday.

According to the criminal complaint, Lili Huang hired a live-in nanny from China earlier this year, then starved and beat her.

The victim told investigators she was forced to work up to 18 hours a day for less than $2 an hour.

She was trying to escape when she was found wandering in the middle of the street.
