KSTP Anchor Chris Egert Continues Healing, Takes First Outdoor Walk Post-Surgery

Less than two weeks after his amputation surgery, KSTP anchor Chris Egert is on the move and sharing stories of those who have reached out to him.

In a post on his Facebook page, Egert said he talked with a man from Illinois who saw one of his Facebook videos and made a similar decision to undergo amputation surgery.


"I'm proud of him for making the brave choice, and honored that he wanted to hear my advice on the subject," Egert wrote in the post.

He also shared a video his wife took of him going for his first walk outside post-surgery.
