Previous Experience
Josie joined 5 Eyewitness News in May 2014. She started reporting traffic for WCCO radio in 2003. Over the years, she has provided news and traffic to a number of Twin Cities' radio stations. She has also DJ'd at several radio stations around the metro.

Education
While she spent her childhood years in Cardwell, Montana, her family later moved to Little Falls, Minnesota, where she attended high school. Josie graduated from Brown College in the Twin Cities after completing their radio/television broadcasting program. She earned her B.A. in Technical Communication and Professional Writing from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul.

Personal Interests
When Josie's not talking traffic she enjoys baking, gardening, and watching the "Bachelor" shows. She and her husband live in the East Metro.
