Two Iron Range teens were honored after they saved their friend's life while out hunting.

The incident occurred last October when Cody Herrmann suffered a seizure and his two friends, John Marcella and Beau Foix, found him in the water at the West Two River Reservoir.

Marcella and Foix were able to pull Herrmann out of the water to safety.

"I knew we had to act fast, so I unbuckled my chest waders and jumped in the water right away to drag him out," Foix said.
