INTERVIEW: The Importance of Navy Week

Starting Monday, America's sea power is coming ashore for Navy Week in the Twin Cities.

It's a week of events to give people a closer look at the importance of the Navy.

Monday at noon, there will be a free concert with the Navy Band Great Lakes jazz combo at Rice Park in St. Paul.

Then at 3 p.m., the Navy Leap Frog Precision Parachute Team will jump from an airplane into Hazel Park in St. Paul.

Rear Admiral Frederick "Fritz" Roegge stopped by the KSTP studio to talk about the importance of Navy Week and the events still to come.
