Father, Son Arrested After Becker Search Yields Drugs, Weapons

Authorities executing a narcotics search warrant in Becker Wednesday located drugs and weapons, including the top half of a grenade.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office said Becker residents Koda Kaine Lambert, 28, and his father, Glenn Raymond Lambert, 64, were arrested after a search of their residence turned up approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine, about 9 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, two shotguns and the top half of a grenade.


That half consisted of the spoon, thumb clip, pin and blasting cap. The handgun, meanwhile, was determined to have been stolen from a residence in Zimmerman in September of last year.

The Minneapolis Police Department Bomb Squad was called in and removed the grenade.

Koda Lambert was arrested for third and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Glenn Lambert was arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm with a removed serial number, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of an explosive or incendiary device without a permit.

Both are being held in the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River awaiting arraignment.
