EXTENDED INTERVIEW: Sun Country Flight Passenger Talks Solar Eclipse

August 21, 2017 10:45 AM

On Monday, passengers boarded a special, sold-out Sun Country flight to Grand Island, Nebraska in an effort to see the total solar eclipse.

It's an extremely unique opportunity for those lucky enough to get a $350 ticket, as they'll be able to view the eclipse right in the path of totality. Flight passengers will then head home and are expected to be back in the state by 6:30 p.m.

Marlys Kuch spoke with KSTP's Tyler Berg about her expectations for the event.
