Police in Eagan are investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy Wednesday.

Department spokesperson Aaron Machtemes said police and medical personnel responded to 1600 block of Oakridge Circle on a report of an unresponsive 3-year-old male just after 3 p.m. Wednesday.


The boy was transported to United Hospital in St. Paul, where he was later pronounced dead.

Machtemes said police are currently conducting a death investigation. No other details have been released.
