Dayton Announces New Appointments to Police Board, Rehabilitation Council

Gov. Mark Dayton Tuesday announced several new appointments to both the Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training and the State Rehabilitation Council.

Dayton reappointed Alexandria Technical and Community College law enforcement instructor Rebecca Swanson to the Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training while naming Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe police chief Sara Rice and Crystal police chief Stephanie Revering to the board as well.

Rice will replace Waite Park police chief David Bentrud on the board while Revering will replace now-Inver Grove Heights police chief Paul Schnell.

Dayton also reappointed Susan Benolken of Roseville to the State Rehabilitation Council while naming Karen Leddy of Mound, James Rechs of Rochester and Sergio Santos of Andover as new members.
