Temperatures are expected to reach double digits over the weekend, with Saturday reaching 15 degrees and Sunday reach 28 degrees.

Dahl said warmer air usually brings more moisture, which could cause snow Sunday and Monday.

The warm temperatures come after the last week of 2017 was marked as the coldest end of the year in the past 132 years, according to the National Weather Service. During the week, temperatures in the Twin Cities averaged -3 degrees.
