No injuries were reported after a Canadian Pacific train derailed Friday morning.

The incident was reported about 7:30 a.m. in St. Paul near Lower Afton Road and Highway 61. Canadian Pacific officials say about 15 cars derailed but that there were no leaks or safety issues.

Crews are now working to restore the railyard. It’s unclear when the cleanup will be finished.

Crews say other trains are still able to operate at slower speeds.
