Authorities ID Body Found in Mississippi River Near St. Paul Park

Authorities have now identified the body of a man found in the Mississippi River on Monday.

The victim was identified as 32-year-old Nyadue Jock, who authorities say was homeless at the time of his death.


The Ramsey County Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause of death, but the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says there are no obvious signs of trauma.

The body was found by a boater, who reported it at 4:46 p.m. Monday near St. Paul Park.
