A release from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said the suspect reportedly approached the male and female at a bus stop and displayed a knife (flip style with a black handle and a silver blade with three holes). He allegedly demanded their valuables, made them undress and told them to run.

He then reportedly left in the direction of Cedar Avenue and Riverside Avenue South.
