Apple Valley PD Looking into Allegation Against Century Middle School Principal

January 17, 2018 06:19 AM

Apple Valley police Electronic Crimes detectives are investigating a Century Middle School principal for unauthorized computer access.

They said the investigation stems from a complaint alleging that Chris Endicott accessed somebody else's computer without permission.

Century Middle is in Lakeville, but Endicott lives in Apple Valley, which is why police there are working the case.

Capt. Nick Francis said the investigation could take six months to a year because computer crimes are complex cases.

The school district has placed Endicott on administrative leave. He has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

When reached by phone on Tuesday, he told KSTP he couldn't say anything about the investigation.

Lakeville Area Public Schools Superintendent Michael Baumann said he would release more information after a meeting with Apple Valley detectives Wednesday afternoon.
