The Anoka Police Department is looking for help identifying a man they say attempted to impersonate a city worker and collect money for a street renewal project at a city residence.

In a post to their Facebook page, the department said the man went to a city home in March attempting to collect payments. He was driving a red Ford Superduty pickup.

The department points out the City of Anoka does not go door-to-door collecting money.

If anyone has any information on the man's identity, they are asked to call (763) 576-2817.
