Back in November, the American Heart Association changed their definition of high blood pressure.
The change has been lowered from 140/90 to 120/80. Lifestyle modifications to lower blood pressure include lowering salt intake, increasing exercise, losing weight, quitting smoking, and relieving stress.
It is also important to know the numbers of one's blood pressure.
Minute Clinic is offering free screenings throughout February on Wednesdays to help improve people's awareness on their blood pressures.
