An 80-year-old Pierz man's condition was unknown after the tractor on which he was standing began to move – which caused him to fall – and then ran him over.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred about 10:15 a.m. Thursday about four miles north of Pierz in Buh Township.

Deputies learned 80-year-old Robert Happke had been standing on a TMR mixer when the tractor began to move and caused him to fall. Happke was then run over by the tractor, the sheriff's office said in a release.

He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital before being airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, where his condition was unknown at the time of the release.
