The Twin Cities will likely see between 1 and 3 inches of snow by the time it's done falling before Tuesday morning's commute. KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl says that commute will likely be slow, especially on the side streets.

2. KSTP Traffic Map

The overnight snow Monday could make for a slower commute Tuesday morning. Check out the KSTP Traffic Map and tune into 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS with traffic reporter Josie Smith to stay up-to-date on the latest commute information.

3. School Alerts

Though the metro didn't receive nearly the snowfall totals as places northeast and northwest – like the Arrowhead and Roseau, say – potentially slick roads could cause a school delay or two in the Twin Cities.

Get ahead of the game by registering to receive KSTP's school alerts.

4. Wind Chill

Though you might have been prepared, winter's sudden onslaught will likely come as a shock to your furry friend. Let your pup adjust more easily by checking the current wind chill readings before your morning walk Tuesday.
