Moorhead police report a 41-year-old male suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening after an apparent stabbing at a hotel Monday night.

A release said officers responded to the Grand Inn on the 800 block of Belsly Boulevard at around 10:32 p.m. Monday. There, they found the man who had apparently been stabbed twice in his side and had a cut on his wrist. He was transported to Essentia Hospital.


With the assistance of the Clay County Sheriff's Department, officers located 57-year-old Frank Muniz of Moorhead at his residence. He was taken into custody and is now being held at the Clay County Jail.
