The 10-year-old girl who was struck by a car while riding a bicycle in New Richmond, Wisconsin, has died, according to the New Richmond Police Department.

Police identified the girl as Morgan Greene.


Officers responded to a report of a car vs. bicycle crash at the intersection of West Richmond Way and Sequoia Lane around 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers located Greene, who had not been wearing a bike helmet. She was treated at the scene, then airlifted to Regions Hospital.

The 40-year-old driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze remained at the scene and, according to the release, was cooperative with the investigation.

The release also said drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

According to the Greene family's post on Caringbridge.org, the girl's organs were donated.
