Firefighters said they believe the fire started in the front porch area before moving to the rest of the house.

One person was transported to the hospital Thursday morning as a precaution after a house fire in Minneapolis.

According to authorities, the fire started at about 3:30 a.m. at a home on the 2900 block of 44th Avenue South.
