Minnesota tops the nation for its dental health, according to a WalletHub study.

In a recent study called "2018's States with the Best and Worst Dental Health," Minnesota was ranked as the No. 1 state with the best dental health. All states were compared with categories such as the number of adolescents who visited a dentist in the past year to the costs of dental treatments.

  2. Wisconsin
  3. Connecticut
  4. Illinois
  5. North Dakota

According to the report, Minnesota has the lowest percent of adults with poor oral condition. It was ranked fourth for the percent of adults who visited a dentist in the past year, fifth for percent of adults with low-life satisfaction due to their oral condition, sixth for its dental treatment costs, and 10th for percent of adults who experienced oral pain in the past year.
