A Minneapolis nurse is facing five counts of theft by swindle after authorities say he stole drugs from the Veteran Affairs Medical Center on 34 different days.

Matthew Leininger, 42, is charged with stealing the drugs between June 22 and Dec. 25, 2016, according to a release from the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. Among the drugs he is accused of stealing are fentanyl, morphine and oxycodone.
