Inside Your Health: New Hemophilia Drug

There are about 20,000 people in the United States living with hemophilia, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

While there is currently no cure, there are treatments. And this week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration fast-tracked the approval of a new medication that substantially reduces the frequency of bleeding episodes in patients hemophilia A.
