Inside Your Health: What to do About a Persistent Hoarse Throat

September 18, 2017 10:42 AM

KSTP medical expert Dr. Archelle Georgiou received a question during her weekly web chat on KSTP.com from a woman concerned about her doctor's response to her hoarseness.

The woman said she'd been experiencing a hoarse throat for about a year, that her ear, nose and throat doctor repaired her eardrums, but that the fix did nothing. The doctor suggested it was not allergies causing the affliction, and that the woman could try singing more to strengthen the throat.

Georgiou has a different take, and she speaks with Bill Lunn about the possible causes of the woman's hoarseness.
