Most of us will hear the loud booms and blasts of fireworks throughout this holiday weekend, but many Americans will struggle to hear normal conversations.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in six Americans over the age of 18 have hearing loss, and in those who are older than 70, the numbers double. But, only 20 percent of people with hearing loss get help.
