Inside Your Health: Fear of Needles

Do you get nervous at the thought of having blood drawn?

Or do you get so queasy when its time to get the flu shot that you avoid it all together? About one in five adults claim to have a fear of needles or injections, and in some cases, it's so severe that it is classified as a mental health diagnosis.


It's called Belonephobia, and KSTP health expert Dr. Archelle Georgiou explains.
