There was a rare act of bipartisan cooperation in Congress last week. 

The 21st Century Cures Act been working its way through Congress for two years.

On Wednesday, the Senate voted 94 to 5 in support of the $6.3 billion bill which authorizes sweeping changes to healthcare.

The bill now heads to the desk of President Obama who has said he looks forward to signing it as soon as it reaches his desk.

On Sunday, our own health expert, Dr. Archelle Georgiou, explained how this legislation will effect patients.
