Doctors Should Have a Pre-Op Surgery Checklist

November 15, 2016 05:46 PM

Surgeries can be stressful, but doctors have a checklist to follow before going under the knife.

Doctors from Entira Family Clinics say it's important to have a pre-operation physical.  The checkups needs to be done at least two weeks before surgery.

Doctors will ask you about your health over the years and do a physical exam.  If you see your primary care physician, make sure your hosiptal or surgeon also gets the reports.
