Action Sports Community Comes Together to Honor Late BMX Icons on July 18th

The action sports world lost two incredibly talented and iconic BMX athletes within two years of one another. Dave Mirra, who passed in February 2016, and Kevin Robinson, December 2017, were adored by fans from around the world, but none more than their wives and their children. On Wednesday, July 18th, in downtown Minneapolis - home of the X Games - the benefit will bring together the Minneapolis and action sports community to raise education funds for Dave's daughters Madison and Mackenzie, and for Kevin's children Shaye, Kevin Jr., and Riley. Both Dave and Kevin competed in the X Games for almost 20 years with 18 gold medals between them.

The action sports community as well as NASCAR, NFL, MLB, MLS have come together donating items for the silent auction which include: Tony Hawk autographed skateboard, Shaun White autographed snowboard, Michael Phelps signed swim cap, Jimmie Johnson NASCAR autographed race shoes, X Games XIP package, Minnesota Twins Byron Buxton autographed baseball bat, Minnesota Vikings Authentic Team Jersey, Travis Pastrana autographed jerseys and Nitro Circus tickets, Camp Woodard summer camp sessions and so much more.

Tickets are $40 per person and will give you entry to the red carpet event where you will have the opportunity to meet the beneficiaries of this fundraiser, meet and take photos with BMX legend Mat Hoffman, Supercross and Motocross icon and Minnesota hero Ryan Dungey, BMX icon Ryan Nyquist, BMX Racing Olympian and Gold Medalist Connor Fields and youngest X Games Gold Medalist and Skateboarder, Brighton Zeuner. Ticket also includes live music, athlete autographs, food, one free drink ticket and one raffle ticket.
