Rock star Tom Petty made a Roseville woman's final wish come true Saturday.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and his band the Heartbreakers made a stop in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour Saturday night.

Petty found time to meet with Laury Myhre, who is battling terminal cancer.

Myhre is in hospice care at Presbyterian Homes in Roseville. The care center posted Myhre's request on a Tom Petty Fan Club Facebook page and it went viral. The center also helped Myhre get tickets for the show.

The Xcel Energy Center worked with the tour to try and make the meeting happen.

It did.

Not only that, but Petty dedicated the song "Walls" to Myhre by name, saying he was playing it for Laury who was there and hadn't been feeling well.

Myhre said Petty and the rest of his band could not have been nicer during the meeting.
