Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has confirmed the company is reducing 130 team members in the Twin Cities.

Company spokesperson John Hobot said the decision was made after evaluating market conditions and consumer needs, and to "better align with current volumes."

"Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is committed to retaining valued team members and, where possible, we work to identify other opportunities within Wells Fargo," read part of a statement.

"The team members affected by these changes have each been an essential part of our success. We will do everything we can to make them aware of other job opportunities within Wells Fargo, or support them as they transition to the next phase of their careers."
