A fire that broke out in Ottertail Wednesday night destroyed a business.

According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, the Ottertail, Perham, Dent, Battle Lake, Henning, Bluffton and New York Mills fire departments responded to the structure fire just after 8 p.m.

Authorities said there were no injuries as a result of the incident.

However, authorities determined the Periwinkles Building to be a total loss. The building houses Periwinkle's, a clothing, furniture and home decor store. The Ottertail Liquor store, attached to the building, sustained minor water damage, according to authorities.
