Security officers at the Office of the Inspector General for the United States Postal Service in Eagan planned a one-day strike Monday.
According to a statement from the Service Employees International Union, the security workers agreed on a contract before Labor Day but now accuse their employer of backing out and cutting their pay.

The workers picketed and held a rally at 3:15 p.m. in front of the office in Eagan.
