According to a data analysis by CandyStore.com, Minnesota's favorite Halloween candy is Tootsie Pops.

"So now the Land of 10,000 lakes is also the land of 195,000 pounds of Tootsie Pops," the report states.

Other states such Kentucky, Tennessee, and Washington also love Tootsie Pops like Minnesotans.

Which state consumes the most Tootsie Pops? According to the report:

  • Coming in first, Washington consumes 223,850 pounds
  • In second place, Minnesota consumes 195,783 pounds
  • In third place, Kentucky consumes 67,829 pounds
  • Last but not least, Tennessee consumes 59,837 pounds

Minnesotans also love Skittles and Almond Joy. Minnesota consumes 194,672 pounds of Skittles and 98,726 pounds of Almond Joy.
