The longtime restaurant Tucci Benucch at the Mall of America will close in early 2018, the mall said in a statement.

The mall said the restaurant and the Magic Pan Crepe Stand announced they will close on Feb. 4. The restaurant group Lettuce Entertain You, which owns the stores, said the closures come as their leases with the mall expire.

"We are sad to see them go and thank all our guests who supported them throughout the years," the mall's statement reads. "With change always comes opportunity and we look forward to exciting announcements for those spaces in 2018."

The Italian restaurant has been a fixture in the mall since it opened in 1992.
