Honeywell and the Teamsters Local Union 1145 have a new contract agreement.

The new four-year contract reportedly provides increases in wages and sick days as well as health care assistance to some employees. The contract also eliminates health care for retirees beginning next year.

Union workers voted to approve the contract on Saturday, avoiding a possible strike or lockout. The final vote was 547-158, according to the union.
